Joining us on a tour is often the first time ridin

Joining us on a tour is often the first time riding a Segway for many of our guests, because of this each of our tours include a training session. During the training session our expert guides 🤠 give a demonstration explaining how to ride a Segway. Then spend time one on one with each guest in our small group, ensuring everyone learns the skills and feels comfortable on their Segway, before having some free time to practice their skills on our purpose built obstacle course.

This ensures that whilst we are out and about exploring Uluru, our travellers are able to feel confident riding their Segway and enjoy getting to see and learn about Uluru.

Summer ☀ is the perfect time for reptile spottin

Summer ☀ is the perfect time for reptile spotting at Uluru. This beautifully patterned critter is a sand goanna (Varanus gouldii) 🦎.

They're the second largest monitor lizard in Australia and can grow up to 140cm! Interestingly these critters are considered to be voracious eaters and consider anything smaller than themselves to be their prey, however their diet typically consists of insects, mice 🐁 and small lizards.

If you're visiting our region over the next few months, be sure to be on the lookout for these beautiful critters, especially whilst driving 🚗, as they often like to sun themselves on the road.🦎

Until you visit Uluru and the Northern Territory, it's hard to understand what makes this place so special. To be honest, we can't just sum it up into one post. The colours, the culture, the landscape the history it's all unique and special, however the space out here is truly something else!

The Northern Territory, is roughly 1,347,791 square kilometres and accounts for just under 20% of Australia's landmass. You could fit France into it a bit over 2 times and could even fit the state of Texas into the NT twice. France has a population around 68 million people & Texas has a population of about 30 million, whereas the population of the entire Northern Territory is roughly 255 000 people!

If you want to experience something different, then be sure to put Uluru on your bucket list.

Our Uluru Sunrise & Segway tour is tour is a traveller favourite.

It is available year round and starts the day with beautiful sunrise viewing 🌅 and picnic breakfast at the foot of Uluru 🥐 ☕, followed by a Segway training session before setting off to circumnavigate the full base of Uluru on a guided Segway tour.

If you look closely, can you see that Uluru's surface appears to have vertical lines ↕ running up and down it?

Geologists tell us that these striations aren't horizontal as we often see, and are instead vertical because millions of years ago when this rock was forming it was tilted a full 90 degrees ⤴ and now rests on it's side. #NTAustralia #ExploreUluru #SeeAustralia

We often get asked from our travellers, "What's the best way to carry my belongings whilst riding a Segway?" If you've booked a tour with us and you're starting to wonder what to bring and how to bring it, then read on.

On tour, all of our travellers need to bring 1L of water per person 💧, wear closed in shoes 🥾 and bring their National Park Entry Tickets; whilst not mandatory, we also suggest bringing your phone (for a camera 📸), sunglasses 🕶, a hat or cap 🤠 (to wear under your helmet) and during November - March even some salty snacks (these can help your body not lose too many salts and keep you feeling good in the heat).

When riding a Segway you need both hands to hold onto the handlebars, so having a backpack is a great way to carry your belongings 🎒. In case you don't have a backpack (or you don't want to be pack horse for the whole family), we have some waterbottle holders (like the one pictured) which are perfect for putting your water and/or mobile phone in whilst Segway riding.
